Notes

Created by Dick Bradsell in 1980s London — the same bartender behind the Espresso Martini and the Bramble. Bradsell designed it as a long, celebratory drink that combined the structure of a Champagne cocktail with the berry richness of a Kir Royale, adding vodka for backbone. The "Russian" nods to the vodka, "Spring" to its fresh, effervescent character, and "Punch" to the communal tradition of the drink style. It was added to the IBA New Era Drinks list, further cementing Bradsell's legacy as one of the most influential figures in modern cocktail history.
