Notes

A delicate French classic and IBA Unforgettable, generally credited to bartender Johnny Mitta at the Chatham Hotel in Paris around 1912. Kirsch, a dry cherry eau-de-vie, gives it backbone while the vermouth and a touch of grenadine lend the pale pink color that names it. Stir with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
