Notes
A tiki classic created by Don the Beachcomber (Ernest Raymond Beaumont Gantt) at his original Hollywood bar in the late 1930s or early 1940s. The name is classic Donn tongue-in-cheek — the drink is so smooth and tropical that it could tempt even the most devout missionary into sin. Originally blended with crushed ice into a frozen consistency, the combination of peach, pineapple, and mint makes it dangerously drinkable. It was largely forgotten outside tiki circles until its addition to the IBA New Era Drinks list gave it renewed international attention.
