60 ml (2 oz) bourbon
20 ml (0.75 oz) orange curaçao
15 ml (0.5 oz) sweet vermouth
15 ml (0.5 oz) lemon juice

Notes

A pre-Prohibition whiskey sour variation named after Man o' War, the legendary American thoroughbred who won 20 of his 21 races in 1919 and 1920. The curaçao and sweet vermouth round the bourbon into something richer than a standard sour. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe.
