Godfather

35 ml (~1.25 oz) scotch whisky
35 ml (~1.25 oz) amaretto

🧃🧃

Notes

A simple two-ingredient cocktail that first appeared in print in Brian F. Rea's 1976 Brian's Booze Guide. Disaronno claims the drink was the favorite cocktail of Marlon Brando, known for playing the titular character in the 1972 film The Godfather. Swap the Scotch for vodka, and it becomes a Godmother; swap it for cognac, and it becomes a French Connection.
