Notes
A savory cousin of the Bloody Mary that swaps tomato juice for chilled beef bouillon. It was created around 1952 at the Caucus Club in Detroit, reportedly by owner Lester Gruber with help from soup magnate figures of the day. Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled glass, or serve over ice. Best served cold, though some prefer it warm as a restorative.
