Notes

An equal-parts digestif introduced in Harry MacElhone's 1919 Harry's ABC of Mixing Cocktails. The name is German for "pharmacy," a nod to the medicinal bite of the Fernet, which is softened by mint and rounded out by sweet vermouth into a surprisingly chocolatey, balanced sip. Stir with ice and strain into a chilled coupe.
